23/1/10	10 pin Bowling, Deer Park.	First social event of the new year. A good night was had by all with about 20 people, (members and partners) turning up and demonstrating just how lousy they are at this game. Thanks to Tom Meechan for arranging
1/03/10	Business Meeting. Craigsfarm Livingston	A general business meeting, with special guest speaker Wee Norman Geddes of the DSA who will tell us about how the Driving Test has changed across the years
7/06/09	Examiners Meeting, To be attended by guest speakers from the DSA Venue currently Craigsfarm but this may change if numbers increase	As is now traditional this was our annual get together with our examiners to discuss and local points. In particular this year we will be discussing the change to the driving test, the "undirected drive". We are hoping that Paul Appleby, Ronnie Simpson and Tom Lindsay will be able to attend to talk about how this will work, routes that will be used.
Late August	West Drive Howden, Livingston	The annual schools road safety event as normal.
6/09/09	Business Meeting. 19:00, at Craigsfarm, Livingston	A general business meeting.
December	Christmas night out	Still to be planned. If you have any ideas, put them forward
6/12/10	AGM and election/reelection of office bearers, Craigsfarm Community centre, Craigswood in Livingston 7pm sharp start	Any other items can still be discussed. Agenda to be published.

To be arranged	Quiz night	A chance to sit around and answer questions.
To be arranged	Visit to Tulliallan Police Driver Training Centre	I have opened contact with the Scottish Police College to see about this planed visit. We hope to get some demonstrations from police driving instructors plus some discussion on how Police Driver training is structured and delivered. This already promises to be very popular evening so will probably be members only, it is also likely to be a pay event as the SPC is now a self funding centre. Details will follow as I get them, but contact Ray Lynch if you want to be considered.

We are also constantly on the look out for themes for special meetings or ideas for social events. Please remember that this is YOUR association and we will endeavour to do what you want. Also keep in mind that meetings with a specific purpose DO COUNT AS CPD. If we use our heads we can be getting a major part of our CPD requirements in at NO EXTRA cost, surely that's got to be worth £5 per year membership.
